What does Spritz taste like?
At the birth of this cocktail, which was initially created to lengthen the Italian wines that the Austrian soldiers found too strong, the Spritz had a pronounced taste of wine. Today this cocktail has evolved through the creation of many recipes that have replaced wine with bitter aperitifs such as Campari, Aperol or Cynar accompanied by Prosecco and a dash of soda water. The most dominant flavour in the Spritz is the taste of the orange which gives it its bitterness.
